Fig.3: Sustained field source model consisting of four dipoles in subject RR. The posterior dipoles (black), projecting onto the planum temporale, were fitted to the irregular condition. The source waveforms below show the activity of regular (solid) and irregular (dashed) conditions. The anterior dipoles (white) were fitted to the regular/irregular difference condition and project to the lateral portion of the first Heschl’s gyrus. The activity associated with the anterior sources is much stronger when the stimulus is regular.
